POSTPARTUM

Postpartum, was displayed as part of the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, 2024. The weight, height and circumference of the work relate directly to Kunwar’s experience of postpartum haemorrhage. Through removing the female figure from the textiles based work the artist provides a space focused on, but not confined by the female form, offering a way to explore unspoken experiences and emotions.
